Buildings Gone Mad

Sears Tower is a 108-storey, 442m building in Chicago, completed 1973.
This building will be renamed Willis Tower after insurance broker Willis Group Holdings Ltd. agreed to lease a large portion of the building.

The Burj Dubai is the tallest man-made structure ever built to date.
It has 160 storeys, 818m high and is scheduled to be completed September 2009. Design team - USA

If you thought the Burj Dubai was about as high as they could ever go, the Dubai developers have come up with something even bigger, a skyscraper over 1 kilometre tall.
The Nakheel Tower will be 1,400m high, with 228 storeys !
