Update, Burj Dubai

Burj Dubai, is set to officially open on December 2, to coincide with the country's National Day after a 3 months delay.

Burj Dubai tower prices have dropped as much as 50%, reported The National. UK-based property consultants Sherwoods said prices in the development, excluding the tower, had fallen from an average of US$952 per square foot to US$828. Brokers said downtown Burj Dubai had seen some of the biggest price drops in Dubai because prices had previously risen so sharply.

Speculation have been rife about the final height of the 160-floor Burj Dubai, which reportedly stands at 818 metres.
The total bill for the Burj Dubai project is about US$4.1 billion.

Seems like Dubai is the place to be with soccer star David Beckham, recent rumors making rounds that he is all set to own his apartment in the Burj Dubai tower. There are 144 Armani-designed apartments in the tower and the cost of one of them is said to be US$7.5 million.
