Voodoo Black Magic

Does black magic actually exist ?

Can black magic explained by science ?

Interestingly, practitioners of voodoo have go online.

For a fee, and submission of your full name, birth date and the manner of the curse you desired, hex spell custom potion in the form of incense, amulet or oil will be shipped to you. The fee ?

US$400.00 !

For the same amount of money, you can order a business spell which could ruin a competitor.

In this age of highly educated society, why would people even think of engaging in such ancient practices ?

You may have read of famous Hongkong actors consulting masters of black magic in Thailand and Indonesia, which is well known for their potent curses.

In 2009 a sensational case of black magic where a two year old boy has 50 sewing needles inserted inside his body. The country ? Brazil. Investigation revealed that the needles were deliberately pushed through his skin.

Doctors said the boy may have to live with them inside his body because of the risk involved in removing them.

And in a second case, also involving a two year old, rocked Brazil where he was also inserted with the slivers by his father.

So does black magic exist ?

A person who resonates at a low vibrational frequency, such as fear, or guilt, are more vulnerable to the effects of black magic.

If you resonates at a high frequency such as love and compassion, you are unlikely to be affected as the spells will just bounce off your psychic shields.

Icons of the World

Why did the ancient societies build giant structures ?

Modern man build them for political prestige.

The Eiffel Tower was built for the International Exhibition of Paris of 1889.

Of the 700 proposals submitted in a design competition, Gustave Eiffel's was unanimously chosen.

It was almost torn down in 1909, but was saved because of its antenna - used for telegraphy at that time.

The Statue of Liberty was completed in France in July, 1884 and arrived in New York Harbor in June of 1885.

The people of France gave the Statue to the people of the United States over one hundred years ago in recognition of the friendship established during the American Revolution.

The Great Wall of China is actually constructed over several dynasties.

It began when the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang ordered to link up the three disconnected walls built by Yan, Zhao and ex-Qin States.

The wall as we see today was constructed from 220BC and finished in 1620 by the Ming dynasty.

The Pyramids of Egypt were built as tombs for Kings.

The first pyramid was probably built 2500BC.

The Sydney Opera House committee got the project under way in 1954.

The first performance was held on 28 September 1973.

oops, wrong photo

Charlotte Church

Remembered for her classical renditions of Christmas carols in Bethlehem in 2001.

Then she disappeared from the classical music scene.

In 2007 Charlotte Church became an unmarried mother.

Presently she is trying to break into the USA pop music scene.

The Welsh star is in the city trying to launch her career to the American market and performed a low-key gig in Manhattan.

Hailed as the voice of an Angel, it is a pity she took the other music path.

The Vintage Eagles

The Eagles last performed in Singapore and Hong Kong in 2004.

Their 1994 Hell Freezes Over tour was called off due to Glen Frey gastro troubles.

Just when you thought they're over the hill, they will be back for Long Road Out of Eden tour.

The gears that they will be carrying here will produce the sound that is classical Eagles.

gibson les paul

don felder

Many fans will miss the wizardry of Don Felder who was not in the 2004 line up, as well as February 2011 performance as well.

Timothy B Schmit will return with his Carvin TBS4 bass guitar to blast the night away.

And Flen Frey will carry his faithful Takamine without fail.

Glenn Frey’s Takamine originated from the Sitka spruce tree deep in the interior of Canada.

In 1980, the tree that was to produce the top for Glenn’s guitar - plus a few hundred other Takamine instruments - began a long and slow trip from forest to sawmill to kiln and then to a drying shed in the shadow of Mount Takamine in Japan.

Hairdo

What has the hairstylist and surgeon have in common?

Both use sharp cutting tools. Both live in million dollars home.

Why do people spend $300 for a haircut ?

A Hongkong-based hairdresser and owner of a chain of hair salons, which sponsors TV stars cut and style your hair for $2,580.

Two Malaysia-born hairdressing owners of hair salons in the main shopping district in Singapore, charges $289 to $339.

In pale comparison, a haircut at the heartland salons normally set you back $10.

Uncle This, Auntie That

It is common nowadays to hear younger children calling male elderly relative "uncle" or "auntie" in the case of female ones.

father's younger sister 小 姑 Suay Kor
father's older brother 伯父 Tua Pek
father's younger brother 小叔 Suay Chek
father's older or younger sister's husband 姑丈 Ah Thio

father's younger brother's wife 婶母 Ah Chim

father's brother's son 堂兄弟 Ah Hia

mother's elder and younger sister's husband 姨丈 Ee Thio
mother's brother's wife 舅母 Ah Khim
mother's brother and sister's son 表哥 Piao Hia
mother's brother and sister's daughter 表姐 Piao Jee

Your elder brother's wife 嫂 Ah Soh

Your younger sister's husband 妹夫 Muay Sai
Your younger brother's son 侄子 Nephew

So the next generation of address will only get worse, as children get highly educated and westernised.

Static Electricity

Static Electricity is electricity that doesn't move.

Every person will have SE on their body simply by doing common actions in everyday life.

Helicopters can create a stunning show while initiating an static electrical discharge.

At times, your hair is out of control with flyaways and frizz. You have Static Electricity hair.

Static Electricity hair is usually caused by using a plastic comb or brush and your hair can’t find a ground to discharge and therefore causes the hair to flyaway and stand up.

There are simple ways to discharge the SE from the body.

Touch the earth wire of the building, if you can find one.

Touch the ground with the feet, no shoes nor socks.

Or do it the Tibetan way.

The Rise of South Korea

1238, Mongolia invades
1592, Japan invades
1910, annexed by Japan
1950, the Korean War broke out
1961, a military coup toppled the civilian government
1980, a military coup seized power
1992, election ushered in a new era of civilian rule

World War II, Japan attempted to exterminate Korea as a nation.
Worshipping at Japanese shrines was made compulsory.
The Korean language was banned and Koreans were forced to adopt Japanese names.
Tens of thousands of men were conscripted into Japan's military.

Today Samsung is the world's largest conglomerate with US$180 billion revenue.

Hyundai has US$110 billion.

LG has US$105 billion.

SK has US$80 billion.

And it was only 50 years ago South Korea became one of the poorest countries in Asia. Its infrastructure and resources were severely depleted during the Japanese occupation and the Korean War. A U.S. Army General who took part in the war said, "This country will never be able to recover from this, even in 100 years."

TV Technology

It was not too long ago that Japanese television sets dominate the world. Sony, Hitachi, Panasonic, Sharp to name a few.

Today Korean TV sets are top sellers worldwide.

Samsung, LG and Sony are now the top three best sellers in that order.

The current battle plans by TV manufacturers is to become leader in 3D display sets. Television viewers will be carried into a new dimension.

There are concerns that the special glasses cause eye fatigue and dizziness.

But for such cutting edge technology within reach, who cares.

3D glasses do not come cheap. One powered with a replaceable coin-sized battery cost $150.
The glasses power up with the touch of a button and power down after a minute after you fold the arms.

Are you catching up ?
